Online Tutoring in Dallas, TX
Live K–8 Math, Reading, and ESL Instruction From Certified Teachers
Tudor Cowboy Academy connects Dallas families with U.S.-certified teachers for live, one-on-one online tutoring. Every K–8 math, reading, and ESL lesson follows Texas standards (TEKS) while adapting to your child’s current skill level and learning needs.
for Parents
We provide guidance and support for families at no additional cost. That includes answering your questions, evaluating your child’s academic level, and helping you understand exactly how to move forward.
Strong results come from strong partnerships. We work closely with Dallas families to ensure every student stays on track and continues improving. Public servant discounts are also available.
Support For Dallas ISD Students
Tudor Cowboy Academy offers consistent, online tutoring from a certified teacher who works with your student session after session, so progress actually compounds instead of resetting.
Across Dallas ISD and the surrounding Plano, Richardson, and Garland districts, classrooms are full and individual attention is thin, which is exactly where quiet learning gaps take root. Our one-on-one lessons in math, reading, and ESL give your child the focused instruction a busy classroom cannot, delivered live over video so there is no evening drive through DFW traffic to fit into an already full week.
Tutoring Built Around the Subject Your Child Needs Most
Full Academic Programs
Structured tracks built on TEKS, from early phonics and subject mastery to exam prep and full homeschooling pathways, designed to close gaps and accelerate growth.
Math Tutoring
From counting and fractions to pre-algebra and geometry, we turn “I don’t get it” into worked-through confidence. Lessons build the number sense and problem-solving habits that make the next grade easier, not just tonight’s homework.
Reading Tutoring
We strengthen the full chain of literacy: phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Whether your child is sounding out first words or learning to analyze what they read, lessons meet their reading level and grow it.
ESL Tutoring
Built for Dallas’s many multilingual families, our ESL instruction teaches students to think directly in English rather than translate. That is how kids move from hesitant to fluent in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Middle School Tutoring
The jump to middle school is where confidence often slips. We help students manage tougher coursework, sharpen study habits, and stay on grade level across core subjects during the years that shape their high school readiness.

Instruction That Matches How Texas Actually Measures Learning
Tutoring only helps if it reinforces what your child is accountable for at school. That is why every Tudor Cowboy Academy lesson is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the standards that define what Dallas students are expected to learn at each grade. Your child is not doing extra, disconnected work at home. They are strengthening the exact skills their classroom and the state are building toward.
STAAR Is Gone Starting in 2027-2028
Starting in the 2027–2028 school year, Texas is retiring the single year-end STAAR exam and replacing it with three shorter checkpoints, given at the beginning, middle, and end of every school year. The one-test-one-day model is ending, and in its place comes a system that watches your child’s growth all year long. That means a student who drifts off track in the fall no longer has until spring to catch up. The gaps show up sooner, and so do the consequences.
At Tudor Cowboy Academy, we monitor every student continuously through journals, mock assessments, and clear reports to parents, so you always know where your child stands and what comes next, long before any school checkpoint arrives. The families who prepare now won’t be scrambling in 2027. They’ll already be ahead.

Success Stories from Our Cowboys & Cowgirls
We’ve been working with Tudor Cowboy Academy for over three years, and the progress has been remarkable. Our son came to Tudor struggling with confidence in both English and Math. With consistent, personalized lessons, he has improved his reading, writing, and problem-solving skills far beyond what we expected. What stands out most is Tudor’s patience, creativity, and ability to adapt lessons to our son’s learning needs. He now approaches schoolwork with confidence and independence. We are incredibly grateful and highly recommend Tudor Cowboy Academy to any family looking for high-quality support.

Tudor Cowboy Academy provided me with support in both English and French.
What began as help catching up in school quickly turned into a major improvement in my confidence and academic performance. I achieved grades 7 and 8 in my English and French writing, speaking, and listening exams, while also developing stronger essay and paragraph writing skills in English. The personalized support and teaching approach have greatly improved my language abilities, and I now feel confident as we prepare for my GCSE exams.

Tudor Cowboy Academy helped my two children catch up quickly after we moved to an English-speaking school system. They improved their academic vocabulary and writing skills in a very short time, and they also became much more confident interacting with native classmates. Last year, my eldest son passed the SAT with TCA’s support. My daughter is still receiving tutoring and is preparing for the SAT next year. I highly recommend TCA to any parent — especially those with English language learners.
